Anthony Gordon - suspension

Gordon was sent off after lashing out with a two-handed shove to the head of Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke during a tussle for the ball. The referee showed him a straight red card for violent conduct. (Source: Goal.com)

As a result, Gordon will miss the following matches:

• Premier League: West Ham United (A) – 10 March

• EFL Cup: Liverpool – 16 March

• Premier League: Brentford (H) – 2 April

He will be eligible to return for Newcastle’s Premier League fixture against Leicester City on 7 April 2025.
