Lewis Hall - ankle
Newcastle United's left-back, Lewis Hall (20), sustained an ankle injury during the Premier League match against Liverpool on 26 February 2025 (Source: Chris Waugh, The Athletic).
After consulting with specialists, it was determined that surgery was necessary. The procedure was successfully performed on 12 March 2025. Hall shared his disappointment over the injury, stating on social media, "Still absolutely devastated to not be out there with the lads at such a crucial part of the season" (Source: Instagram, Lewis Hall).
Following the surgery, Hall will enter a rehabilitation phase with the goal of returning to full fitness for the start of next season. It is hoped that Hall will be ready for pre-season training in July, in time for the 2025-26 campaign with Newcastle (Source: Dominic Scurr, The Shields Gazette).
Lewis Hall has an ankle problem which he suffered vs #LFC & he will see a specialist.

Not sure of severity yet beyond that, but a concern for #NUFC, given his form. A right-back covering in at left-back again to compensate for his absence.#NEWBHA #BHAFC #FACup
