Crysencio Summerville - hamstring
Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville (23) is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury that has kept him out of action since late January 2025.
The Dutch forward initially suffered the injury during a training session ahead of Leeds’ Premier League match against Aston Villa on 28 January 2025. Although he returned to training briefly on 24 January, manager Graham Potter confirmed that Summerville was still struggling with discomfort and was ruled out of the Villa match. Following the setback, Summerville was also unavailable for subsequent matches against Chelsea on 3 February and Brentford later that week. Potter admitted that the winger’s recovery was taking longer than anticipated, stating:
"Summerville is very doubtful and taking a bit longer than we anticipated."

On 13 March 2025, Potter provided a positive update, revealing that Summerville had returned to training and was able to work with the group, marking a significant step in his recovery. However, despite this progress, the manager confirmed that the winger would remain unavailable until after the March international break, allowing him to build up fitness before making his comeback.
"We'll assess over the next 24 hours, I guess, whether he's available, but I think it's more after the international break for him, just to get some training in him. But it's nice to have him with the group." (Source: BBC Sport)
Summerville opted against surgery for his hamstring injury, aiming to accelerate his return through physiotherapy and rehabilitation exercises.
Summerville could be out for the season Speaking exclusively to Claret & Hugh, a senior West Ham source has confirmed the full extent of the injury. “We still think it’s all season,” the source revealed. “The danger is he breaks down again and then needs an operation—the surgery he should have had last weekend. If that happens, he could miss the start of next season too!” “There is a tiny possibility that time will heal him and he won’t need the operation,” they added. (Source: West Ham Football)
