13 March 2025 by Thomas Anderson

Everton midfielder Iliman Ndiaye (24) sustained a medial knee ligament injury during the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on 12 February 2025, ruling him out for several weeks. Manager David Moyes described the injury as "not looking great" at the time. (Source: LiverpoolWorld)

"We think he's possibly kicked the ground and maybe jarred his knee or opened his knee up. We don't know how serious it is yet, but we'll look tomorrow." (Source: Everton FC)

As of 14 March 2025, Ndiaye is making steady progress in his rehabilitation and is targeting a potential return after the international break, aiming to be fit for Everton's clash against Liverpool on 2 April 2025. However, he may need additional time to regain full match fitness. (Source: ESPN.com)

The club's medical team will continue to monitor Ndiaye's recovery closely to ensure a safe and effective return to competitive action. (Source: Everton News)
