Jorginho - rib
Arsenal midfielder Jorginho (33) is a major doubt for Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Real Madrid after suffering a rib injury during the Gunners' 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday.
The Italian international was forced off in the second half at the Emirates Stadium, reducing Arsenal to ten men during a crucial Premier League fixture. Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed post-match that Jorginho experienced difficulty breathing, a clear indication of the severity of the issue.
Speaking to the press, Arteta said: “He said he could not breathe properly so it might be to do with one of the ribs. It is strange because [he] normally carries on, so that means it is something significant, I think.” (Source: Metro)
