Neto - ineligible to face parent club
Arsenal goalkeeper Neto (23) will be ineligible to play against his parent club on 3 May due to loan agreement terms that prevent him from featuring in matches against Bournemouth, the Premier League side that owns his contract.
However, since The Gunners are up against The Cherries — the club that loaned Neto out — he won’t be able to play in this important match. It’s a common rule in domestic loan deals to prevent any conflict of interest.
Fortunately for Arsenal, the keeper is not dealing with any injuries and is expected to return to action on 11 May.
