Gabriel Slonina - finger
Chelsea goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina (20) has been recalled from his loan at Barnsley following a finger injury sustained in late October 2024.
The injury, which occurred during warm-ups before a match against Charlton Athletic, was expected to sideline him for four to six weeks.
Despite initial hopes for a swift recovery, Slonina remained unfit for action, leading Chelsea to terminate his loan spell in January 2025 to oversee his rehabilitation. Chelsea's medical staff will now supervise his recovery before deciding on his next steps. (Source: Fabrizio Romano)
