Manchester United's central defender, Matthijs de Ligt (25) sustained an injury during the team's 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on 1 April 2025. The injury occurred in the second half when de Ligt landed awkwardly, appearing to twist his ankle. Despite this, he completed the full 90 minutes but was observed limping as he left the City Ground.
