Ross Barkley - calf
Aston Villa midfielder Ross Barkley (31) sustained a calf injury during the match against West Ham United on 10th January and was expected to be out for two to three weeks, according to manager Unai Emery. By 7 March, Aston Villa confirmed that he was about a week away from resuming training. However, he remained unavailable for the match against Brentford, as confirmed by Emery.
An early change as Ross is forced off.
